RYAN MILLER

Ryan Miller creates and connects big ideas, communities, stories, and people. He turns thoughts into action. In May of 2015, Miller began his role as the Director of MVCC’s ThINCubator, an organization meant to drive innovation and foster a culture of entrepreneurship in our area. Since that time, thINC has become the epicenter of entrepreneurship in the Mohawk Valley and Miller has assisted and advised over 200 entrepreneurs and ‘want-repreneurs’ on their journeys.

He is the founder of the Rust Belt Startup Podcast, which focuses on long-form conversations with entrepreneurs, educators, artists and people who are living unconventional lives in unconventional locations.

Miller is a founding organizer of TEDxUtica, The Utica Firefly Storytelling Project, and has been a regional singer/songwriter for over two decades. He makes things, breaks things, and has a deep devotion to the culture, identity, and potential of rust belt communities. He is a very adventurous eater but still can’t stand peas, and is hard at work on becoming a wine snob.
